    Honda rubicon radiator

    Well for all of the atv riders here's something to know before buying this item. Your OEM radiator is 1" thick and this one is 1 3/4" thick.
    So you will need spacers to move the oil cooler away from the front of this radiator and buy longer bolts. Also a had to space the top of the fan mounting because the fan was hitting the rear of this radiator. Another bolt I had to buy that was longer then ther original mounting bolt.
    As far as the quality of this radiator it appears to be well built.
    Also this radiator be thicker you need more antifreeze. I also had to purchase an adapter for the overflow tube. Original one is 1/4" and this radiator is 5/16" (6.00 more)
    Wish I could add photos as I took them just for this review.
    So be ready to do some modifications if you use this radiator. I used all stainless bolts and washers -cost was only about 10.00 more.
    Hopefully this solves my over heating issues.
    This radiator was a great price compared to an OEM one.

    Ordered to replace the rad of a 2001 TRX500FA Rubicon. The fit was great and the quality looked good. The overflow hose spigot was larger than the stock one, but we still managed to get the hose on. Shipping to Ontario Canada only took 2 days, and even with shipping and the dollar conversion it was way less expensive than the $900 OEM rad.
