Applications:

Programmed specifically for hydraulic oil applications.

Module is programed to turn the fan on at 50% at 100°F and linearly ramps to 100% at 130°F.

Works on both 12V and 24V electrical systems.

Ramped power control reduces the electrical load on the system.

Works with single and dual fan applications.

***Dual fan applications- the second fan will engage only after the first fan has reached 100%.

  • Connect the 18 AWG Yellow (second fan output) signal wire to a 40 Amp Relay- Note this Signal output is NEGATIVE (-)
  • Use heavy gage wire connecting the fan and power source through the relay.

*Relay not included.

Control module is designed for remote mounting and includes long lead wires for the fans and temperature sensor.

Temperature sensor comes with an adapter to mount directly into the oil cooler tank.

(25310) HYDRAULIC OIL COOLER FAN CONTROL MODULE WITH TEMPERATURE SENSOR 12V OR 24V

Posted by Matt Maness on Aug 25th 2023

I've purchased Qty. 3 of these initially. They are well built and potted which is a plus. I have these is use on 3 identical applications and have found after a year and a half they have to be replaced. The cause of failure is due to the fan kicking on in high heat when the switched power is off. I have purchased another 3 in the meantime and will continue to run due to the convenience of the module. Hopefully this failure root cause is rectified on future models.
